If it were possible -- or rather, if I had been able to figure out a way to do
it, I would have made the cube with clean edges. But Im not sure it is
possible, at least, not just using headlight bricks.
If anyone can come up with a way to make a headlight mosaic cube with clean (or
cleaner) edges, Id love to see it. My only thought for a slightly cleaner look
would be to apply 196 1x1 light
gray tiles to cover the studs showing on the edges. I only have about 10
instances of that piece in that color in my collection, though, and the going
price on Bricklink seems to be around 50 cents per piece (yikes!). And still,
that would only make it somewhat cleaner. The bottoms of the headlight bricks
would still be showing. Still, if I had the tiles, Id slap them on...
