  school mosaic project
 
Hi all, I am starting on a mosaic project for my kids school. I want to take the schools logo and create a large mosaic out of it. The logo can be viewed at (URL) am planning on involving the students as helpers to figure out piece requirements, (...) (19 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) I actually would do it in bricks instead of plates, and I would use lime green, medium blue and regular blue... great way to get rid of lime green imo. (...) Dave, Have you already tried Bob Kojima's program "Bricksaic"? DO IT !! (There's a link on the left side of lugnet.build.mosaic) His dithering algorythms don't always give perfect results, but you don't need that in this case ("nearest (...) (19 years ago, 12-May-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)
