First off, I would like to thank everyone for sharing all their knowledge and works of art here on lugnet. I've been reading about mosaics for a while now and think I'm ready to start my own project. I'm wanting to make a grayscale, 144 x 48, 1x1 (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Oh yeah... :) I couldn't really give any advice for creating your own. There are a few mosaic-making programs. You can try them and see if you really like one in particular's output. Seems some people like me have developed their own way to create (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

(...) something like this---sort of "posterized". On this example, I find it cleans up some of the "clutter" that other dithers give.
