I just opened them with excel so there shouldn't be a problem to convert them if you want to later. so what is ministech anyway? (is it lego (...) (...) Glad you like it. A .wks file is a Works Datasheet. I use Works (as part of my Windows XP) because I don't have Excel yet. I forgot to make one very important remark: Not everybody uses the same RGB colour values: this may lead to entirely different results, even if the same algorythm was used. i must admit that i am not an expert at dithering. i have made improvements to Briksaic so it gives more accurate results. i took the CameronDiaz picture and ran it through Bricksaic to compare the results with Maarten's results. Before I started writing a program to create mosaics from my own pictures, I needed lots of information on "how to reduce the colour palette of an image to a custom colour palette".
