   Hi all,

I have added a page to my website containing a few examples of mosaics that can be made out of LEGO or ministeck (mainly ministeck-enthousiasts have asked me about it). Every now and then I will try to add new examples to this page. It is most likely that I will never build one of these models myself (not in LEGO, not in ministeck), I just had fun creating them.

You can find the new page here.

I would appreciate it if mosaic enthousiasts would give me some feedback, especially on the visibility of the files (are the images clear enough - since I have no printable versions yet).

Thanks in advance,

Maarten

hey maarten,

I’ve printed a few of your “cameron diaz” mosaics and they look amazing on paper. I just opened them with excel so there shouldn’t be a problem to convert them if you want to later.

so what is ministech anyway? (is it lego compatible?) also, what program did you use to create the “cameron diaz” mosaics and is that available anywhere on the web? I’m looking for a simple way to convert a jpeg or bit picture to use only lego colors in order to make a mosaic out of it. hopefully, I can post it on lugnet when it’s completed!

thanks and keep up the good work, phil

(...) Phil, how did you open it in Excel? I just tried to and it was jumbled. Any suggestions? (19 years ago, 27-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)
