  Re: My Centurion.

(...) LOL -- it's PERFECT! Now.. if we only had Gasgano's head in black with white eyes instead of white/black....? We could paint the helmet green, the brush yellow... and poof -- with a red torso, white gloves and a 'skirt' we'd have Marvin the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: My Centurion.

Inspire me it shall! I look forward to attempting to replicate the use of the broom handle as a "special command plume". Awesome job! Technically Centurion helmets had plumes which were perpendicular to the helmet...or 90 degrees from the one you (...)   My Centurion.

Greetings to one and all. Well, Kyle's awesome Roman creations inspired me, so now I hope to inspire him with one of my own modifications: A centurion helmet. (URL) let me know what you think about it... And yes, that is me in the background. -- (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Roman-theme LEGO

(...) The base of a Star Wars lightsaber with a screwdriver might make an interesting short sword. That is if you can find any chrome screwdrivers. ----anti-mod members skip the next part You could always paint the screwdriver if you like the look (...)   Creator/Jack Stone fig hair

Has anyone had any luck with removing Creator/Jack Stone fig hair? It looks like it would be a perfect fit (& some useful new hairstyles) for minifigs - after all, the caps are the same. I would like to preserve the creator figs, and give them (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Roman-theme LEGO

Hi Kyle, I LOVED your theme! I mean, I never thought I'd ever see any Roman stuff *by LEGO*, but like you say, Rome was one of the most influential civilizations in History. So it is quite logical to have this civ prtrayed. And how nicely, must I (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Roman-theme LEGO

So here is the ancient newsgroup! Thanks for the kind comments! I hope to evolve this theme successfully as well. Perhaps not to the greatest extent that I would like. There will probably be some sets with cameo appearances by the Carthaginians, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Well, it was a good guess, but there are a few better places... ;-) (XFUT .build.minifigs, .build.ancient) (...) One question though... I'm not clear on what makes the "archers" archers... the guy's holding the sword... ;-) I also thought I'd (...)   Re: Xcalabur's Lair Relaunch

(...) Or maybe the moral is to always check it in NS4.7, since if it works there, it'll work anywhere, since it dislikes errors. A very admirable quality, if you ask me. Jeff (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle.org, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Xcalabur's Lair Relaunch

Hey Chris! Great stuff, as usual. Your characters are very unique and full of personality, and I'm still in love with your Wizard's tower. One question, though. I've been waiting forever for you and Shiri's characters to have a nice crossover (...)   Re: Xcalabur's Lair Relaunch

(...) Yeah, netscape 4.7 totally sucks. However, netscape 6.2 (the latest version, based off the geko rendering engine and mozilla codebase) doesnt. (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle.org, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

There is no </body> tag in there. (...) All I see is a blank black page with a small banner at the top (using NS4.79). Perhaps there is an unclosed table or something? Jeff (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle.org, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow

  Xcalabur's Lair Relaunch

(Please set FUT's) Hi all, I got fed up with Geocities, so I moved. Topcities is home now. I also cleaned a lot of stuff up, and I hope I made everything easily navigable (is that a word?)
