#1- Try short swords, if you want a better historical accuracy. The romans
used short, pointy swords to "spike" rather than to "cut" their opponents. I
understand this is difficult to do with LEGO parts, though.

The base of a Star Wars lightsaber with a screwdriver might make an
interesting short sword.  That is if you can find any chrome screwdrivers.

Hi Kyle, I LOVED your theme! I mean, I never thought I'd ever see any Roman stuff *by LEGO*, but like you say, Rome was one of the most influential civilizations in History. So it is quite logical to have this civ prtrayed. And how nicely, must I (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.ancient)
