So here is the ancient newsgroup!
Thanks for the kind comments!
I hope to evolve this theme successfully as well. Perhaps not to the
greatest extent that I would like. There will probably be some sets with
cameo appearances by the Carthaginians, Gauls, and Egyptians; but not
focused on those particular groups. "Legion" will be more of a military
theme and won't focus as much on structure (but there will be a few). There
will be gladiators.
As for my archer, well; he really isn't an archer, I was just naming files
and that is what popped into my head for whatever reason (which I can't
explain).
I am currently in the middle of creating "sets" for four of my concept
themes (one theme hasn't been announced) so it is somewhat hard to focus on
building for just one theme. I have two medieval houses going (including
furniture), war elephants, ships, siege weapons, custom torsos to design,
and a few space ships. Not to mention all of the LCAD prototype instructions
for them. Needless to say I am being kept busy. If I have time I'd like to
build and sell a kit or two of my medieval half-timbered house.
My goal is to have quite a bit done by July so I can attend BrickFest (if
there is one) with something to show off/contribute. If I'm lucky I will
even complete 2-3 sets from my upcoming Concepts theme.
Not enough money and time!

Very cool! I like the designs, especially the breastplates - nice look.

| Hi Kyle, I LOVED your theme! I mean, I never thought I'd ever see any Roman stuff *by LEGO*, but like you say, Rome was one of the most influential civilizations in History. So it is quite logical to have this civ prtrayed. And how nicely, must I (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.ancient)
