Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

how many have only one dimple? I'm guessing that is an accident but I don't know. it is possible that a left mold with dimple and right with out (or vise versa) were put together. but man that seems weird. as for the dimples they are normal. I don't (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

(...) I wouldn't say they were anomalies Wayne. I have about 60 of the classic space guys so I decided to check out there helmets. Sure enough some had dimples and some didn't. Weird after all these years I never noticed. (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Classic Space Helmets - A question...

(...) I was not aware of any Classic Space Helmets that did not have dimples. The first place a "visor" was used with the helmet was with the Yellow Castle. There were "Plumed Visors" for each of the four knights. If you have any helmets without (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: Boston RedSox Minifig from cancelled promotion...

(...) I've seen one of these figs in person (not surprising, since I live in Boston). they are definitely genuine and were given away at the park at least once. Note that I'm not saying that these aren't from a second, cancelled giveaway. What isn't (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Boston RedSox Minifig from cancelled promotion...

Thanks for the info Greg. Just in case the seller is a fellow lugneter, I wasn't doubting his authenticity, but wondered if anybody had any further information about these figures. At least we now know that they are probably genuine Lego items. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Boston RedSox Minifig from cancelled promotion...

Hi guys, I have just bid on and won an eBay auction for a couple of Boston Redsox minifigs. ((URL) to the seller, these figures are from a lego promotion that got cancelled. Does anyone have any further information about this cancelled set? I don't (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Classic Space Helmets - A question...

Hi everyone, I have a question for any classic space minifig experts. I recently won a few eBay auctions for 'classic' space minifigs in all the colors and now I have received the items, I have noticed a peculiar difference in the helmets. Basically (...)   Re: Green minifig hands?

(...) That would be cool. I didn't notice that (or didn't get that catalog) as for green hands none of the alpha team people have green hands (lt grey but no green) bobba fett has dark grey and the flash speeder pilot has brown and the green haired (...)   Locker 99 Minifig Reference adds Alpha Team

It's been a long time since I've added new themes to the Locker 99 minifigure reference, since I've usually waited to become "complete" in a theme before doing so. Well, I've decided to change my ways and add scans of figures as they become (...) (23 years ago, 28-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: What do YOU do with face-less heads?

I have the same problem, I must have dozen of old heads that have been rubbed clean over the years. I would like to put new faces on them, but have done next to no brick modification or painting; and have no idea how to go about this. Can someone (...) (...) The nun's look great. I would never have thought to use the biker scout helmet like that. But what I really like is the old style cop. Very cool. -Jason (URL) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Nun Minifigs

I've posted a few shots of some nun minifigs I did the other day: (URL) the paint isn't real, just Photoshopped in. I don't know if anyone's done these before, but if you've seen any, please send a link so I can check them out. Later, G (23 years ago, 26-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: What do YOU do with face-less heads?

(...) Are you sure they are rubbed off, or might they just be from the pre-minifig era? Some of the town sets that came out just before the minifig revolution used the same extra-wide 1x1 round bricks that minifigs use for heads, but without any (...)
