I recently stumbled upon a good use for Timmy heads -- no, not as kindling
for your next campfire (they don't burn well anyway) -- but as girls!

See this and more on my LEGO site's new page for simple minifig head
customizations.  Nothing to fancy here, just stuff anyone can pull off with
some simple X-acto knife scraping and a Sharpie, with the aim being to make
specialized heads more usable in any theme.

These are pretty clever and quite simple too.  If I had the heart to take an
exacto to my Lego, I'd seriously consider some of these (especially scraping
those darn microphones off all the minifig heads!)

I've had good luck removing Timmy freckles and some microphones using a solvent
and a toothpick. You have to be slow and patient, and it may not be as
efficient as an exacto, but it works. I don't try to remove microphones if they
overlap the mouth though.
