Evolution of the minifig —Bruce Hietbrink
Hi all, I've written up a history of the (URL) evolution of the minifig>. Please let me know what you think, and if I've missed anything really important. Bruce (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Evolution of the minifig —Andrew Saada
(...) Bruce, Good writeup you have there. I enjoyed the brief history lesson/refresher course. As for omissions, I think you forgot to finish this sentence: (...) "...will be represented with true skintones (i.e. shades of "peach/flesh" and (...) (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Evolution of the minifig —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) Thanks, Andrew. I've edited the essay to include both of those changes. Bruce (19 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Evolution of the minifig —Norbert Black
Hi Bruce (...) It looks really very good, I think. The only (minor!) thing I think would make a neat addition would be a nod at the ever-increasing number of colours in which minifig parts are available. And it's not terribly important to evolution, but how the little stripes are drawn onto the neck-peg for proper face rotation. Hm. Also COULD (...)         Re: Evolution of the minifig —Jason Spears
(...) Excellent article. Thanks for doing the research. Only thing I would request is that you add an RSS feed to your blog. Blogger makes this really easy (under settings, then site feed) and would assist those of us who rely on our aggregators to (...)         Re: Evolution of the minifig —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) Hey, I appear to have an atom feed (not quite sure what that means) at: (URL) Is that what you mean? I see that there is also a link to Feedburner (URL) , so maybe I should read up on that. I gather from this that there are two different feed (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: Evolution of the minifig —Jason Spears
(...) The .xml file is similar to a RSS feed. Most aggregators use them interchangeably. So that is indeed what I was looking for. I should have just checked for that file, instead of relying on (URL) Bloglines> to find it for me. Feedburner looks (...) (19 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.publish, FTX)
