An important issue that I think should precede this (without entering into
too much debate) is the fact that LEGO isisued blank heads on minifig
bodies AND at the same time introduced a non-yellow head for a unspecific
human character (Stormtrooper and TIE Fighter Pilot, respectively). To me,
this was a mistake (well, not exactly a mistake, but a decision that was not
well-thought out. I digress...).

| (...) Bruce, Good writeup you have there. I enjoyed the brief history lesson/refresher course. As for omissions, I think you forgot to finish this sentence: (...) "...will be represented with true skintones (i.e. shades of "peach/flesh" and (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)
