| (...) I am not certain, but I think the first sets I saw with faces other than the standard yellow smiley were the first generation of Pirate sets (1989). These sets included the face you mention as well as the Redbeard face, the stubble with (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

| Does anybody know what was the first minifig face (not including the standard grin)? I was having a look around the usual resources and the lowest numbered set with a non-standard grin face is 6235 from 1989 which has the moustache and stubble (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

| A blitz in the last 2 days made Johnny the victorious minifig, only 7 votes ovber Blacktron 1 who had lead by a good margin the whole month. | Hey, i don't know if this is real, but I have a bunch of the old Cellulose Acetate bricks from the 50s-60s, and some of them are white with little swirls and bits of red in them. Is it possible that they could be swirls? If they are, are they worth (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)
