Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

Nice! Lots of great detail. I don't think the canopy looks out of place at all, but if you replaced the blue canopy with a clear transparent one (if you have one) I think it would work a lot better with the colour scheme. I really like the cannons (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

(...) I really like the landing gear. Nice and simple. Do you have a problem with them not holding up the weight very well? If not, I'll have to borrow the design for future reference... (...) -Duane (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: My new work "M4A1 Sherman"

Hello Shaun! (...) Since I also liked the arms of WW2 better than present-day arms, I was impressed very much by your works. My most favorite German plane was Stuka, I was surprised at the height of the completeness. And BMW, 88mmGUN, (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Thank you Kirby! I'm glad you like it. (...) Actually, now that I remember, Tim Courtney used them on his [1] Harrier LEGO model. When I was building this, I went through many different ideas, and then finally grabbed those zip-line pieces... (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

I don't reply very often to people's MOCs these days because I find it difficult to say something different everytime I like something and I really hate telling people I don't like their work. But in this case, I've got somthing to say. I like this. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Heh... ;-) (...) Kinda like the Stuka, eh? (...) Thanks Geordan. That four-barrelled rotary machine gun design is one of my favourite weapons that I have built. (...) Neither did I; I saw it on Discovery Wings channel a couple of months ago. I (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

woah, awesome! There's so much detail everywhere, well could I really expect anything 'non-detailed' from you? No way. :-D It has a really cool shape to it, sorta reminds me of a soaring eagle, or a hawk, and then at the last moment it dives at it's (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

Very nice Mladen! Nice to see some other types of aerospace out here in .space! I like how you used a 1x2 panel (trans) for a pseudo-HUD. The Landing gear are real neat too. I juist love the weapons all over it! Rick (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

Yeah, that's it, that's what I meant... Actually, I always call that gun by the wrong name. But the 6 barrel excuse does sound pretty good, doesn't it? :) One of these days I suppose I'll remember to use the correct name, won't I. Thanks for the (...) Dang! That is just amazing Adrian! I can't even begin to comprehend how you packed all those features into your model. Impressive, most impressive. BTW isn't the gun called the [1] Avenger?   Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Yes. The real thing is balanced by the gun. In fact, when the gun is removed, a series of large heavy plates are put in its place for just that reason. I worked F-16 weapons for the 57 FWW. Which was a composite training wing with a wide (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Well, technic figs come apart somewhat easily, so I could litter it with some shrapnel from one of them :) Maybe my next project will be a minifig scale A-10. Nice to see the good ole Thunderbolt II!!!!! Sad it's in technic form, no dismembered minifigs from the cannon on front. :P Does the seat really slide in? that makes a neat ejection system. the rotating machine gun is good too.
