snip (...) Thanks Bob! (...) Yeah definitely, the hokum has a "nice guy" feel to it, but the design itself is really cool IMO. (...) Ah cool, i'll have to check it out, but personally, that version of hind seems rather ugly to me, it could be just (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

Really nice job, Geordan! That is an awesome MOC. You did an excellent portrayal. I really like the missile tubes! Now if only I could find the time to finish my Huey.. ~Drew (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

Congratulations! The chopper is very well portrayed, I like it very much. Of course one of the most interesting features is the unusual placement of rotors (at least in the West it is unusual...). I assume these particular ones are non-functional, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

(...) That's a very good likeness of the Hokum! As far as the real thing, I prefer the Hind in terms of looking more sinister and maybe instilling more fear in the enemy. I think an Apache or an A-10 will do the same thing though. "Red Dawn" had (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

Hey thanks for the reply Mark! (...) thanks, unfortunately, the landing gear do not support the entire heli, when I was building them, it supported what I had so far easily, but the moment I added the back, it all went down hill from there, and it (...)   Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

Cool! I like your landing struts, great use of the droid arms. I'll be honest, It's kinda hard to see the pics, blurry, but from what I can see it looks good. keep it up Mark (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Teaser : HMS Atlas

(...) Well, I had a SNOTty dort of brainwave -- all that hull building really turned me sideways.   Re: Republic Gunship

Man, that's awesome! I like the look of the clone troopers. Their helmets might make good castle helmets if you coloured tehm greay or silver and took off the little ridge on the top. Is it just me, or does the cockpit look very reminiscent of the (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.military)
