(...) Hi Ralph Thanks for these new pictures explaining the tricky landing gear assembly. Your F-16 is really great! I like the colour scheme of course, the nose section, engine intake and the over all proportions. To improve the model even further (...) (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Hi Ryan I would recommend buying the book Virtual Lego in order to get going with MLCAD. After a while you will like virtual building as much as building with real lego. It is also an excellent way to share and document your building (...) (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Hi Justin, Thanks for the comments. Many people have mentioned the aircraft's nose. The nose on any jet is a very hard bit to get right (just look at LEGO's new Boeing 787 and you'll see what I mean). I have quite a few of those curved wedges, (...) Impressive build. I especially like your solution to the nose, which seems to be a sticking point for so many. You also pulled off a camoflage look very well (something I doubt I'll ever be brave enough to try, piece limit or no), and as mentioned (...) (18 years ago, 27-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Thanks Brian, Bulk brick sales at outlet stores indeed would indeed be a likely explanation. One of the reasons why I haven't used bricklink is that I am pretty sure that if I do, I'll become hooked. I have browsed around and seen loads of (...) (...) Ralph, I think some of the sellers that have parts in colors that have never been used in sets before probably live near LEGO stores, factories, etc. Especially many European sellers. That's the only way I can think of where they can get their (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) I buy all of my Lego parts on www.bricklink.com. I haven't bought an actual Lego set in years. I just order the parts in the quantities and colors that I need, so I don't accumulate a large inventory of un-used or un-needed parts. Ryan (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)
