  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

(...) Thanks JP! (...) Thanks again. I also use them to open the missiles/flares bay. (...) You are right, I had to compromise, I really did not want to make the fighter bigger to fit the landing gear inside. I made some landing skids that make the (...)   First LDD Creations.

Hi folks. Haven't posted anything in, well.. ages. Thought I'd delurk and share my first two LEGO Digital Designer creations. I think .cad is a fair location for such a posting. If not, please FUT to a better group and accept my appologies. My first (...) (19 years ago, 23-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.military, FTX) !

  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

The first thing I thought when i saw it was "Yay, chibi YF-19!" Very nice. I'm all over the swing-wings, and the hidden decoy flares. It reminds me of (URL) this> little sucker from Gundam Sentinel. I'm not sure I like it as much with the wings in, (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

(...) Staggeringly beautiful. I very rarely see models that have me immediately doing a mental parts check to see if I think I can build one. Mind you, one will not be enough. I want to build a squadron, with each flight having its own livery. And (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

I saw this plane on BrisckShelf before you posted it here, and wow! it's beautifull! My favorite detail, what amazed me the most are the vectoring thrusters. Excellent! I also really like the use of 1x1x1 plate with "hand" you use behind the (...) (19 years ago, 22-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

(...) Thanks MP. I agree about the lessons learned from building small. Those lessons came really handy when putting the pilot with all its gear in that cramped cockpit. Would you believe I am working on a smaller version of the F1-A? See ya. (19 years ago, 21-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

(...) Wow! This is just too beautiful! :-D I think what I like most is your part usage. It's just so careful and precise. It's something I see in all your MOCs, especially your hardsuits. It looks like all those years of building compact little (...) (19 years ago, 21-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  TMC's New Space/Atmosphere Fighter F1-A

(URL) Hello All. The F1-A was built for operations in both space and atmospheric theater of battle. It is able to be deployed from a space platform or ground based installations. The gear business underneath is what the spacers refer to as "(URL)", which are basically functionless bits of detail masquerading as machine components. I'd love to have (...)   Re: "Scuttler" Steampunk Mecha

  Anyone got their ears on?

This forum went silent. Don't recall any discussion on Mike Psiaki's F4U Corsair: (URL) like a worthy addition, right up there with Mattias and Bryce. Speaking of Bryce, anyone talk with him lately?   another Bryce MiG 21 in ABS

Well, I needed a foe for my earlier build of Bryce's A-7 so I undertook his MiG 21 in a white repaint. Just like the real plane, it's a straight forward, tough, economical build. Probably ran me under $40 with only two Bricklink orders. I had to (...) (19 years ago, 3-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.military)
