   I also really like the use of 1x1x1 plate with “hand” you use behind the cockpit, it looks like there are vents over there, nice texture!

Thanks again. I also use them to open the missiles/flares bay.

   My only nitpick is about the front landing gear, when it’s in flight mode - but I can’t see any solution, I have no idea on how I would try to hide it.

You are right, I had to compromise, I really did not want to make the
fighter bigger to fit the landing gear inside. I made some landing skids
that make the front landing gear more like its part of the body.
...got to take pics of those.
