MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

My entry for next weeks LEGOfactory contest: (week 6) (URL) "We've lost the suspect out of sight... Where could he be? Is he on the monorail or station?!? Maybe he reached that big building over there, or did he run into this alley?... Do you still (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad, FTX) !!

  Re: Teeny tiny mini-mecha

(...) I liked your scene with this tiny mech terrorizing a tiny cityscape. That's a scene I would not have the parts to do, for my minifig scale mechs. (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: lego factory contest question

Cool. I really like that model. That set was my second "big" LEGO set as a kid (after 487 Space Cruiser) as a kid and was the basis for hours and hours of play. Wouldn't it be cool if they did a "micro-legends" line and rebuilt a bunch of these (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: lego factory contest question

(...) Snip (...) Wow, someone wanted to vote for one of my models! Unfortunately, I accidentally uploaded the wrong file. I will be re-submitting it for next week's voting. I deleted the incorrect entry, but it is still being shown on the site for (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  lego factory contest question

Hi all, I wanted to vote for this MOC by ClassicSmiley: (2 URLs) But on lego.com, that one shows up corrupted: <javascript:void window.open('/eng/fa...top=30');> I voted for it anyway, but wonder if my vote will be discounted when (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Even more microscale MOCS

(...) Dude, I say if you are going to keep doing these ROCKING creations, hog away. Spotlighted, and thanks for sharing. (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Even more microscale MOCS

Hi all Don't mean to hog this newsgroup, but I thought you might want to see some more of my creations. I've really gotten into this microscale concept. Please LMKWYT. Mansion (more experimenting with the fountain, and a double staircase): (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: New England Church - MOC for Lego Factory week 4

(...) Thank you. And I think I might have an answer to your dilemma. If you hit the alt key while moving the mouse, you can rotate the model to any degree. Granted, you can only look dead on while you are in the process of moving, so you will have (...) (20 years ago, 11-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Lego Factory maximum number of entries per week?

Hi all, I noticed another anomaly today in the Lego Factory contest. One contestant has a total of six entries this week, even though the rules clearly state there is a maximum of five allowed per week. The reason I noticed it is that all six (...)   More Microscale MOCs

Hi all, I've posted a few more microscale MOCs in my folder. Two of them were done by my children for the Lego Factory contest. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!   Re: Town Hall - Micro Scale for Lego Factory Contest

Hi Mark, Thank you for your kind words about my models. These are really the first serious MOCs I've ever done. I usually build sets from the instructions. The software is pretty cool to use though, although it tends to be tricky at times. I think (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: New England Church - MOC for Lego Factory week 4

I like the white chuch, and I really like the trees. Also, I'm always amazed at how many different ways there are to build a 2-wide car with the limited LDD Factory contest pallette. LDD is growing on me too - but I wish there was a way to view a (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Lego Factory repeat entries???

(...) Interesting. It probably depends on what Lego's definition of "entirely new" is, I suppose. As an example, the current Senior model vote leader this week is a blue baseball stadium, which I assume is from the same builder as another blue (...)   Re: Town Hall - Micro Scale for Lego Factory Contest

(...) Thank you. I remember admiring the hospital and putting it in my personal top tier of entries. I especially liked the driveway cover made of glass, the red/white color scheme, and the wonderful micro-helicopter. To me, having good "playable" (...)   Re: Town Hall - Micro Scale for Lego Factory Contest

Here, here, I was wondering what happened there and am glad it came out the way it did. My designs ended up in fifth and sixth place (waterfall scene with train and hospital). Pretty awesome considering those were some of my first ones. It seems (...) (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Lego Factory repeat entries???

Hi all, I wonder if anybody else has noticed that some entries are showing up more than once. For example, the Dutch windmill which is currently in second place for the junior contest (week 4) is also entered as a model for week 5. However, the (...) (...) Thank you! Yea, I really am enjoying the challenge of using the limited pallate. Some people are making cool details that I never would have thought of! Anyway, you can see lots of cool designs on (URL) . -Alfred (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Part Confirmation

Can anyone confirm if part 30165 "'Brick 2 x 2 with Curved Top and 2 Studs on Top" fits into part 3659 "Arch 1 x 4"? Specifically, can I put them together like (URL) without a huge gap? -Rob (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
