Hi Mark,
Thank you for your kind words about my models. These are really the first
serious MOCs I've ever done. I usually build sets from the instructions. The
software is pretty cool to use though, although it tends to be tricky at times.
I think it could be a little more kid friendly.
As far as the thumbnails go on the Lego Factory site, I agree with you 100%. I
tend to put a lot of detail in my models, a lot of which doesn't really come out
in the thumbnails, esp. with the one-wide vehicles.
I've posted some new MOCs in my folder on Brickshelf, I'll put them in a
separate post. A couple of them my kids did for the contest.
It'd be interesting to see what other AFOLs are in the contest.
