  Micro-Scale Display @ BrickFest

As the day quickly approaches, and I finish off my last minute packing... I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you that have made Micro MOCs for the Micro Display for BrickFest. The support and enthusiasm that has been show has been greatly (...) (20 years ago, 11-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  What to call this scale?

Check out this really neat folder on Brickshelf: (URL) creator calls it "microscale" but I think most would agree it's not really microscale (smaller than minifig scale). Instead these animals are sculpted at a scale much closer to real than minifig (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Micro'd

(...) Wow, thanks Aaron. You know, there are a few of those models I would gladly claim as my own (of course, the kids would never let me get away with that). As for the stained glass, I'm actually working on a series of them, I have another one to (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Micro'd

<snip> (...) Bugger me that is some nice work. My fav is definantly the first one (green house) so simple but so perfect. Now I just wish I had more of the cockpit windows. Every one of the models is easily reconisable and perfectly done, a credit (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Micro'd

(...) LOL, thanks Rosco! The kids did a great job, I'm very proud of them. As for the next party, we are thinking about going big, and doing group sculpture or mosaic. Of what... we have no idea, and the when... well I think that better wait until (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Micro'd

With 19 days left to Brickfest... I thought I would share a not so short story of what I did today. BACKGROUND - A few of my children's friends have taken an interest in the micro building I do. One of them even made me a few micro vehicles for my (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !!

Many Star Wars Minis and More!

Hello dear fellows! I want to thank the forums curator for adding my SW Lego site to the links index here, and I hereby want to invite you to take a trip to my site if you are interested.   Re: Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

(...) Oops, my bad. I was just going on their inclusion on the "recent" page. Great stuff. My favorite is probably the Chrysler building, as it has some of the most interesting shapes. Bruce (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

(...) thanks for noticing anyway. I was finally able to visit them up close during a recent trip to Chicago so I thought I'd add a couple of shots of the real buildings to my galleries. Spencer (20 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Microfig creations on Brickshelf this weekend

Hi all, I see several great microfig creations went up this weekend. Srezkall (?) added the Sears tower and the Hancock building to this skyscraper gallery: (URL) (Justin 2576?) brought some castle-themed microfig creations to a Sealug meeting: (...)   Re: Micro-Maersk Container Ship

Hi, Although I'm truly inspired by micro-scale building (and I'm struggling to figure out a way to incorporate its ideals into my CAD class - i.e. scale, selective compression, abstraction, economy, etc.) what I really wanted to compliment you on (...)   Some microfig inspiration from 1981

Here's some microfig stuff from [LEGOSet 2261] when cool stuff had to be made with simple parts. Hopefully, this might give some inspiration for the Brickfest Micro MOC Off. (5 URLs) I'm sure there are plenty more good examples in other old idea (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Masa(?) creations

Hi all, Just surfing around the Legoverse (Legosphere?) and I found this Japanese language site, perhaps by Masa, with this great microscale destroyer: (URL) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: 3 new MOCs, one is a .space civilian MOC entry

(...) This is very nice. Definately captures the Blue Angel style and the look of a stunt craft. Of course, I'm not a huge fan of those studded wings... (URL) This one looks like a good beginning. While I respect the limited piece builds, I think it (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
