Check out this really neat folder on Brickshelf:

The creator calls it "microscale" but I think most would agree it's not really
microscale (smaller than minifig scale). Instead these animals are sculpted at a
scale much closer to real than minifig scale. (perhaps 1/2 to 1/4 real life
size). That scale is a bit smaller than most sculptures, typically

BTW I love the models! Very Designer like. The builder has some other great
