  who started.........
 
the whole mini-fig arms as hands thing? now, am not putting down, they are a great way to make your mech more real. but who started it? (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

No way Karim started that I have been using minifigs legs as hands since the late 80's. And I am sure there are those that did it before me. (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

While it is certainly likely that someone thought of the idea of using Lego minifig legs as arms before Karim, he is (to my knowledge) the first person who actually published his idea in the form of a website or online photos; as a result, the (...) well, it is obvious that they predate LUGnet, it hasn't been around for that long. it almost seems that the legs as hands as been around since the minfigs were intro duced... but i want to know when the 'arms' as fingers styles began they were made (...)
