Why on earth would you need excuses?
LUGNET is for fun and we all visit for the joy of it. If other earthly
matters distract us from Lugnet it's no big deal.
The interesting thing, though, is that every year this time it get's
calmer and calmer on the LEGO horizon until autumn.
Almost feels like LEGO is a winter hobby (depending on what side of
earth you live on of course). And that would make sense since most
building and playing take place indoors...

Down here in the deep south (Texas), we've speculated that this is the reason for the apparent increase in AFOL activity as you go further north. (...) | I have no good excuses. I haven't been visiting lugnet too mcuh lately. (from 3 or 4 visits a day to 2 or 3 a week.) I cleaned my house and don't have LEGO everywhere anymore. Well at least it is now out of the living room (except a few displays (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
