I have no good excuses.  I haven't been visiting lugnet too mcuh lately.
(from 3 or 4 visits a day to 2 or 3 a week.)

I cleaned my house and don't have LEGO everywhere anymore.  Well at least it
is now out of the living room (except a few displays pieces), dining room,
kitchen and spare room.  I am probablly going to make my spare room into a
LEGO lab unless I get a roommate.  (one of the reasons I cleaned) plus I am
curentlly working a number of music projects, which are taking up time and
money.

I still have 1 mecha project that is currently on hold.  I have a torso and
shoulders built (I am very happy with the torso).  I haven't done anthing
with castle lately (except some minor army building)

My final excuse is that I was sick.  Not really sick (or at least
seriously)but more work induced stress sickness (basiclly I felt like crap).
I was bounced around from project to project at work that had two weeks to
one month to go untill construction documents were due and 6 months of work
left.  Luckilly I am now working on stable project and for now no immenent
deadlines.  And since it is now spring everyone is happier.  If the amount
of work our office is churning through is any indication the recession is over.

For that matter, is ANYBODY out there?  I can count the regulars on one hand.
Or is everybody lurking? /:-(

I feel the same thing all over Lugnet, perhaps ppl. are going outside
since it's spring for most AFOL's now?

I think it's just the normal annual cycle and it's related to school. Last
year slowed down about this time and stayed slow through the summer. It
picked back up towards the end of summer.

School and larger possibilities to be outside is my guess.

Right now a lot of students are ending their semester and have projects,
papers, and final exams. Immediately after is a break, so most will go on
vacation.

True.

(...) <<snip>> Why on earth would you need excuses? LUGNET is for fun and we all visit for the joy of it. If other earthly matters distract us from Lugnet it's no big deal. The interesting thing, though, is that every year this time it get's calmer (...) (22 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
