(...) It depends on the width of the legs and the total weight of the model. If you have thin legs (no more than 4 studs) and a light Eva, using several click hinges in parallel will do the trick. (...) You can use the old Throwbot gear boxes. Two put together and then click in a technic beam on one end. My Q model uses this in the legs and hips giving it slender and strong legs.
