I agree with you Brian. That is a better image. In particular the glare on
the triangle wing pieces adds a metallic look while the shadow defines the
plane breaks well.
Still a very nice mecha. One question: are you "greening in" the eyes?

| (...) No they are just green lego. The camera picks up the green very well in contrast with the black. That's sort of the trouble with my cheap camera, it has a selective color sensitivity (perhaps favoring natural hues to make the typical outdoors (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| So here's an improvement on my photographic technique: (URL) how the plates look more like metal and the detail is crisp. It's still a dark image but it has a far more realistic (almost menacing) quality than this earlier one which looks like cheap (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
