I dig on that head! I LOVE the boat hull for the back of it. That is really
creative. It took me a little bit to even figure out what you were using. I
like the feet and the apron armor on the sides of the Gundam. Both look
solid and well formed.

Your Gundam is probably more than 8lbs.  My "Q" mech was closer to 16 lbs
and yours is much taller.

I have a few questions:

Does the Gundam stand up well? I mean do you have to balance it carefully or
can you just kind of stand it up without too much fiddling?

You mention the older friction pegs. How are you using these? Specifically
are the pegs in all of your joints?

How does the head turn?

Do the knees bend? Do the legs "turn out" or are they "locked in" at the
angle in the photos?

Are the legs and torso hollow?

Overall very impressive scale. I know from experiance that it's hard to work
that large. Kudos.

At 12:08AM Pacific Time Neo-Oz military officials have finally released
additional images of Gundam ZERO.  Major highlights: ZERO holding the Gallet
Gun II, and the Gundam released from its support column.  You can see the
pictures at Neo-Oz's main web site:
http://members.aol.com/gw0custom/index.html

Or directly through here:

Specs of the Gundam ZERO:
Height: 4ft
Width: 3ft
Weight: Unknown (estimated at 8 pounds)
Specials: The whole Gundam has only 2 worm gears and none of the parts have
been modified (I call it mutilated) or "adapted" to fit ZERO's purpose.  The
Gundam is held together by an internal frame (of which I am rather proud) built
entirely out of 2 old Technic sets and standard System parts.  (Note: the older
Technic sets have much tougher black pins).  Although the frame could really
use a few worm gears for added stability, it works fine without them.  I hope
that since I have proven it is entirely possible to build a very large Gundam
using primarily Castle and Pirate sets that other builders follow suit in
Gundam construction.
Just one more thing, Neo-Oz scientists have noticed strange anomalies around
the sun of their star system.  A large magnetic burst is scheduled for June 7
(I am leaving the country) which will completely cut of their planet from the
rest of the universe.  If you have any question or comments, well, now is
the time.

Enjoy
Borislav Marinov (Neo-Oz)

P.S.
I am not posting anything after midnight from now on.

First, I would like to thank all of you for your replies. (...) I am glad you noticed the boat hull (there are also 2 red boats, 2 flat hull pieces, from helicopter to submarine glass pieces, and ropes from pirate ships) Sadly, the "creative" use of (...)
