    Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
WOOT! (URL) look at the articulation and the detail and the landing gear doors and the attaching gunpods and... and... *gurgle* ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Todd Trotter
(...) WOW, WOW, WOW.... Looks like I'm gonna get sucked back into Macross toys. I better get on eBay and sell off some of my old Robotech toys. Forget about trying to collect the classic (way too expensive) 1/55s. These look like they'll fly circles (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Joel Jacobsen
(...) Oh man. Those are incredible....! Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Mark. :) Joel J (24 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) The Yamato Valkyries are nice- very nice. I'll definitely have to get a Skull Squadron one... But you should also be aware that Bandai has finally released the VF-11, making all three Valks from Macross Plus available as toys... (URL) think (...)         Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Jonathan Lill
(...) Does anyone know price points and sources for these yet? (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) I don't think the Yamato ones have actually been released yet. The VF-11 is available from Hobby Link Japan at the link I sent. I'm pretty sure if you look around their site you'll find other Valks- they have the VF-17 and VF-19 (Stealth and (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Jonathan Lill
(...) Which raises another question I have always had. While people quite rightly are fascinated with the Valkyrie (I own one of the original white Transformer ones) where can I find or has anybody ever made toys (not models) of the Zentradi (...)           Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) It's called a "Battle Pod." The name of the race is "Zentraedi" (or it was on the box), which may also help you in your search. I had a light blue, white, and black toy Battle Pod, which I bought around 1988 or so. I also got one of the (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Exosquad ....Robbie Benson did the voice of the main character I believe... fairly cool show with a life+death edge you don't see in most cartoons. I liked their suit (...)           Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Jeff Stembel
(...) Toynami currently has the Robotech toy license, and they are planning to make a number of vehicles from the series besides the Valkyries, so expect to see at least a couple destroids and Zentraedi mecha. :) I'm hoping for the Glaug officer's (...)          Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
(...) Isamu Dyson flew the YF-19. Guld Bowman (half-human, half-Zentraedi) flew the YF-21. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) D'oh! You're right, of course. Looks like I'll have to watch the series again as penance. Hanging my head in shame, eric (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
(...) That's a Yamato Valkyrie too. See up there at the top of the page, where it says "Yamato" ? ;^D I like the VF-11, but I'm waiting until this fall when they release the FASTpack version. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) Huh. I thought Bandai was doing the Macross Plus Valks... I stand corrected. There's a FASTpack version of the VF-11 coming out? Did we even see one in Macross Plus? eric (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
(...) Bandai just re-released their Macross 7 Valkyries, which feature the F-19. Macross Plus is chronologically earlier in the Macross timeline, and the YF-19 is of course the prototype of the F-19 used in the chronologically later Macross 7. (...) (...)         Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) Ah, that must be what's confusing me. Too many companies in one franchise for my feeble little brain to keep straight... (...) Right. M-7 is the one with the goofy guitar-controlled Valk gimmick, right? I've never seen it... I'm kind of afraid (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
(...) Heh. (...) Yeah, they have that weird music thing. I haven't pursued it for the same reasons. The VF-2 SS is one of my favorite Valks, tho. I sure wish they'd make that one. (...) I think I remember some mumbling about that. We'll have to wait (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Eric Joslin
(...) I'm fortunate in that my interest is only in the new ones, and even at that only the LED-powers ones (for the Micromen themselves, anyway)... But, as a bit of trivia, that's why the name Isamu was floating around in my head and I credited (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Sun Yun
(...) Uh . . . me too. But for me, my valkyrie habit is getting in the way of my Lego habit. I never thought I'd see the day when I would freeze my budget on Lego to divert to another toy. There is a phenominal amount of quality merchandise being (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Bryce Rollins
(...) Actually, in the opening sequence of the Macross Plus OVA's (not the movie edition) we see Isamu and his partol group piloting VF-11's with FAST packs. Those of you who have only seen the movie version of Macross Plus will not remember this (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!! —Mark Sandlin
(...) Thanks Bryce... I think the VF-11's were moving so fast during that part of the film that I didn't notice the FASTpacks. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (24 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
