Bandai just re-released their Macross 7 Valkyries, which feature the F-19.

Ah, that must be what's confusing me.  Too many companies in one franchise for
my feeble little brain to keep straight...

Heh.

Macross Plus is chronologically earlier in the Macross timeline, and the
YF-19 is of course the prototype of the F-19 used in the chronologically
later Macross 7.

Right.  M-7 is the one with the goofy guitar-controlled Valk gimmick, right?
I've never seen it... I'm kind of afraid to.  M+ was such an incredible series
(much, much better than Macross 2) that I didn't want to ruin it for myself.
:D

Yeah, they have that weird music thing. I haven't pursued it for the same
reasons. The VF-2 SS is one of my favorite Valks, tho. I sure wish they'd
make that one.

There's a FASTpack version of the VF-11 coming out?  Did we even see one in
Macross Plus?

I don't think so. I believe Yamato is just releasing a FASTpack version in
the interests of making a complete model, because they are also planning
FASTpack versions of the -19, -21, and even the VF-1's.

That's pretty cool.  Are they planning on releasing the YF-19 with the jump
rig?  That was actually seen in the show, after all. :D

I think I remember some mumbling about that. We'll have to wait and see.

You can get most of this information from http://www.macrossworld.com.
I also enjoy visiting http://www.valkyrie-exchange.com

As a valkyrie resource, I recommend

NELUG's resident Valkyrie-smith, Sun Yun, pointed me to these a while ago...
but my Japanese toy budget has been going to try and snap up the Microman toys
I wanted, since the line got cancelled, so I haven't really been reading them.
If I read them too much, I'll end up buying them. :D

I had some of the Microman stuff, but I sold all of it to finance my
Valkyrie habit. :D
