The VF-11 is available from Hobby Link Japan at the link I sent.  I'm pretty
sure if you look around their site you'll find other Valks- they have the VF-17
and VF-19 (Stealth and Fire Valks), but I'm not as excited about those.

I know that Robozone (www.robozone.com) has a whole stack of YF-21s, which was
Isamu Dyson's thought-controled Valk from Macross Plus.  I don't know if they
have any of the YF-19s, though.  A friend of mine has the YF-19 toy, and man,
is it cool.

Which raises another question I have always had. While people quite rightly
are fascinated with the Valkyrie (I own one of the original white
Transformer ones) where can I find or has anybody ever made toys (not
models) of the Zentradi machines. Particularly I have always been fascinated
by the thing in the original series that looked very much like a mecha and
had the pilot sitting in the chest. Not the one with the cannon in his
stomach. I wish I knew the name for this as I could then do searches. Anyhow...

It's called a "Battle Pod."  The name of the race is "Zentraedi" (or
it was on the box), which may also help you in your search.  I had a
light blue, white, and black toy Battle Pod, which I bought around
1988 or so.  I also got one of the personal battle suits (the one
with the central gun in the torso)--there was also a series of plastic
Destroids on the same rough "scale", that came out a second time around
1994-95 as part of another toy series (the one with exoframes, I forget
what it was called).  I also have a little red Invid scout and a big
lavender (?) Invid Shock Trooper.  Beautiful things, really.

But I'm not aware of any company or group currently producing any
of the Zentraedi machines as a toy.  You might look for resin kits,
as those are relatively easy to make on a small scale.
