Very nice! I've been meaning to pick up some ball joint sets (err, I mean
Techinc 3P0s and Stormtroopers) and experiment with some Mecha... I read in
another post that you said the hip joints are the biggest problem spot- I know
that some folks that use Throwbot parts for the hips have used double ball
joints- that is, two side by side on each hip in order to distribute the weight
of the torso onto 4 ball joints instead of 2.
All of that said... if you haven't named it yet, I'd suggest "yellowjacket" or
something similarly "bee" oriented, given the gold and black striping on the
torso, and the "wings" on the back. Unfortunately, most "bee"-names
("Honeybee", "Bumblebee") are kinda wussy-sounding, which doesn't fit your
mech...
Oh! Big kudos on the gun as well.

| Right-o. Made a couple of changes, took a bunch more pictures. Hopefully the arms look better now with the added texture and visual interest. (URL) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
