The end is pretty slow in coming, then...the human race has been turning
science fiction into fact for a heck of a long time. Read some stuff by
Jules Verne and then think about how much of it has actually come to
pass. We've visited the moon, we've built submarines to explore the
seas, we're well on our way to the kind of genetic manipulation that
would make something like _The Island of Dr. Moreau_ possible...
It's not the beginning of the end, it's the beginning of the future.
