  Re: Beetle Bay

(...) Very nice! The only thing I'd change is the color of the arms that come down from the overhead servicing hub. I'd make them white, if you have the pieces in white. I make this suggestion only because I love the contrast of the black mech (...) (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: MCP - Mecha City Project - Thanks for the ideas

Hey gang, Thanks for all the great ideas. I'm really looking forward to seeing this project grow. The idea of creating a war-torn, run-down city scape is very interesting to me given that Lego tends to be so prestine and uniform. Keep up the great (...) Hi Allister, first of all congrats on your MOC. It's really great design (...) Well up to now I thought Mecha are sience fiction. But considering this statement, it seems I was wrong. Must be fantasy. Thanks for sharing (URL) Marco> (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Beetle Bay

(...) Thanks Nathan. I kinda liked the idea that a machine that is presumable used in combat would still need a clean-room type facility for maintenance. It can take a rocket blast to the face, but vital systems can be taken down by a bit of dust. (...) (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Well grokked sir. Potty/sump tomato/tomato (...) I'm sure someone could find a use, but the Christmas Beetle didn't strike me as a moon-mech. (...)   Re: MCP - Mecha City Project

(...) Woah that is utterly fantabulous. Much like a butterface, its intriguing one moment...then POW! I love the use of the old crater base plate. I'd like to see a whole series of those buildings. It would be like LEGO Band o' Brothers. (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Anime USA

Hi folks. On the weekend of November 17th-19th, members of Mechahub had a mecha display requested by the animecon, Anime USA. It was held at the Sheraton in Tyson's Corner, VA. (...) A couple of years ago I did one for a WWII setting. I recall it was pretty fun to start building it as if it were whole and healthy, and then let the form degenerate into chaos as I went along: (URL) (click to link to folder) (18 years ago, 28-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Beetle Bay
