Hi folks. On the weekend of November 17th-19th, members of Mechahub had a mecha
display requested by the animecon, Anime USA. It was held at the Sheraton in
Tyson’s Corner, VA. Yes, it was the same hotel for this past Brickfest.
Builders present were Adam Silcott, Jeff Stembel, and I, from Wamalug with
Sabrina Gravatt from NClug. I would have had this up sooner but I shamelessly

Designs present from other builders were the world famous Chocobos from
pugnacious indie-rebel Kevin Heckel, Brickfas from Mike “Count Blockula”
Crowely, and a Pikachu from Azumu.
Besides having the display we also had a panel discussion about AFOLs, Mechahub,
and mecha construction with LEGO jank. Good times were had, nobody got hurt,
and we might have brought out a few sleepers from their Dark Ages.
