The MechaHub has announced the specs for its MCP (Mecha City Project).
The idea of the project is to build a large war-torn city to use as a
diorama to display Lego Mecha at BrickFest 2007. (Yes we know it hasnt been
announced but have faith that something will happen.)
More details can be found at the MechaHub.

This sounds like an awesome idea!! The combination of train/town/mecha to
make a diorama of a war-torn city. Are there ay examples of what a war-torn
building would look like in Lego? I can think of a number of games that
would give good visual references, but I havent seen any done in lego yet.

BrikWars games are often set against war-torn urban dioramas, so you could
browse some of the BrikWars Fan Sites to get
ideas.
Warning: Most BrikWars games depict some carnage, so you might want to wait a
half hour after your most recent meal before browsing.
