Hello Elroy,
this is one more good example, for what TLC could have made out of the
EXO-Force theme.
You did a fine job in eleminating all the odds of the original model.
Plus, this one looks much better!
The idea of a Combat Mechanic is fantastic. Have to keep it in mind...

(1) Ive read discussions about how Lego missed the mark on these because
they are incomplete mecha. While building this, I realized that they arent
supposed to be mecha. Theyre exo-skeletons. I think they were designed to
be more like the loader that Ripley used in Aliens than the giant bots from
RoboTech.

With this youre certainly right. But its the way those models are build
which I am not satisfied with. The shapes are not that bad.
