(...) Using a rubber band is a really good idea, which I may have to borrow from you, Jeff. There is some slackness in the string, and it needs to be pulled back against the curve of the face every so often. I'm confident I can 'train' the string (...)   Robot Head Evolution

Last night I had a breakthrough with mini robot head design. I was trying variations of the basic MegaTurtle (URL) and Nova (URL) head design. And I came up with this: (URL) I thought the reversed Grevious head looked pretty cool...but it needed an (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Make it your one best mecha. That said, presentation is everything. If (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

That new anti slop technique is great! Nice and compact. I didn't notice those knobby things weren't an "even" height. Technic has inexplicable oddities. (I'd still like to know why the worm gears are too short in the first place. It's a subtle (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
