| (...) They hold form exceptionally well. There's lots of geometry play beyond what I took pictures of. Mostly in the form of minor variations on track position. | (...) The final joint to the body has two technic 1x2 bricks with axle holes (URL) There's a 4l axle running through both of them capped with technic balls on either side.
