I’ll be happy to answer questions, it’s a cool tank mecha. Can switch from Tank to mecha.

Hey nice! dig that use of the #2. Treds! lot’s of treds! Bendy! It’s bendy!

Big heavy hatch on front and the treads roll. Lots of credit to give; the Double ball joint system (al-la E. Sophie and M. Clancy) works uber well.

I really like the construction of the upper half of the Tank/Mech all the tan with those slopes, well, it looks really cool. The blue and tan work nice.

Inspiration was lifted from classic-space dot com’s concept art page. Color was largely helped along with my recent interation with Dan Rubin, making me rethink the value of tan.

I have always like tank mechs that have variable crawl geometry. So it is cool to look at. I wanted to say I like the way you made the cockpit. Nice.

   Enjoy guys!

Mark

A suggestion if you don’t mind. I was thinking to partially cover the upper part of the treds, like with a floating flap or armour. You know to protect the treds. (tan plates and hinges)

Either way, nifty, I like it. Thank for sharring.

(...) Sure is. I tried two other joint techniques before settling on the ball and socket design. This is the one with the strength to do the job. (...) Thanks for the idea. I may try that on the next one. Thanks for the comments! Mark (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
