Re: Dancing Sun - Power Suit

(...) Well...this'll be a first for me, but I don't dig it. Don't get me wrong, it's got all the Sophie trademark coolness with the snot construction, the wicked head (which I really like), and always inventive joint tech. But the hip joints, while (...)   Re: High Hopes

Using BrickPix (shameless plug!!!!) I search Lugnet News for "Abdomen". On the first page I found this result (URL) ,which led me to the original post (URL) . I clicked on the link in that post (URL) , which let me see this (URL) . Is that it? Rob (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  High Hopes

Quite a while back someone posted an extremely cool ant-like MOC with an abdomen based on the faceted corners (such as those used in the Adventurer's balloon). I've searched to no avail, and I was hoping someone might have some idea of what I'm (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) I like the flex torso stuff, means Chili can make sandwhiches. Ha, Imagine, Chili's Power Depots are spread around all over, and when he needs a charge up he visits a techno-service pseudo fire hydrant. Funny. Thanks I enjoyed making the deets (...)   Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) Gotta love that crazy red hot dog mecha! Chili must be incredibly flexible with that hinged torso? I also dig those long ligaments running from the torso to the legs. Since "Chili" is anatomically correct, you need to build a large fire (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: First Mecha - Dagin-Kaji

(...) Yeah, the minifig thing doesn't bother me much, it's just that it was so close to fitting in. If they just didn't have arms! Yes, Thrax got into this mecha in the end, now if he could just post something. The click hinges fit in a lot better (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) Thanks I enjoy nature as it inspires us to look closer. (...) Excellent, thank you. What's cool for me about making the Head and trying to get a nice angle with these new canopy eye peices, is they have a certain amount of angle already build (...)   Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) Thank You! (...) Isn't that the funniest! Darn thing keeps the model steady too. Low center of gravity, angled balance, diagonally from the head. (URL) (...) Ha, but see I think that would be cool to have a Girl Friend that had the name (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) Its a classic Animal thing. Since Chili is a dog and Din Din is a cat, Chili is always bothering Din Din and trying to exert his dominance over her. Funny thing is, its fun to watch Din Din shrug Chili off, since the Cat is twice its size. Din (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) Hey that would be cool, you have a cool building style and lots of good peices I bet. Hey now I want to see you make one! e (URL) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

(...) -snip- (...) Hey Eric! I love how you come out of the blue with these Sophie-ized animal inspired (rumble bunny for example) creations. :-) The clean lines and colour uniformity on this 'bot are really great. I also like how you captured the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Okay E someone's got to correct it...S.A. (South American) (...) thought you were eating dinner! Oh well! So the mecha...I really like the shoulder joint tech. Looks sturdy and still articulates well. I haven't even touched one of those new SW (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Gasaraki Raiden Armor (technic) + Marauder

(...) Very nice work. You're really redifining the technic/brick line a bit. I really like the head. In the thumbnails it looks round. Also like the Toa head in the chest. It looks like an energy thingy. Anyhow, all around props for this one. Later, (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Its all about the Chili - Canine Mecha

Hi E! As usual the head is your strongest feature while the rest is not far behind, if it's behind! Love the keel too :) And: THANKS a lot man, now Cayenne Venom is bitten by the love bug and wont do any sorting at all back here. Looks like it's (...)   Re: First Mecha - Dagin-Kaji

(...) For you first brick-based mecha that's rock solid. I like a couple of the poses you have going. Don't worry about the lack of a minifig. I've never put one in (and never will ) and I'm still alive. You did a good job on the head (bit of (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Blue Mini Robot

Hey all, I'm sure you guys have seen this set from Lego: (URL) I have one of that set and I have allways liked those small mechs.
