Okay E someone’s got to correct it...S.A. (South American)

Gotcha.

Now the funny part here is that when you told me on AIM that you’d made Chili I thought you were eating dinner! Oh well!

I got my Mom with that one too, “Oh my son, I’m sure it tasted very good if my son, my child madeddeddedit.”

So the mecha...I really like the shoulder joint tech. Looks sturdy and still articulates well. I haven’t even touched one of those new SW joints so I have no idea how much weight they hold, but it looks like you’re using them to your advantage. I also really like the “toggle axle” as you call it (i have no idea what it’s really called). The way you’ve always mirrored real anatomy with “ligaments” like that still amazes me.

Long ago, back in the days of the Red Robot, I had this idea that a system of three would do the trick of keeping a nice robot standing.

1. Worm Gears were like the muscles. They hold things in place and can move them. 2. Levers help direct the weight. 3. Shock Absorbers help decrease the slack and provide spring and agility.

Its fun to ever strive to build with this scheme. I just like the idea of additional supports and rotational geometry all slung around moving parts.

As always you’ve packed a ton of detail into this mecha, yet your overall technique seems to be getting more refined. I enjoy the overall shapes AND the grebbles. Both are well balanced.

cool, that’s where my head is at.

Only critique is that the tail is straight. You’d have to go with different articulation all together to change it though, so I can see why you made it that way. The tail remimds me of Sava’s dragon.

Ok, I probably should have taken more pictures of this, the tail can swivel all around at each joint in all three planes.

I’m not sure if its clear in this picture, but you know the little black Technic Pins with the Click Hindge on the other side, well by virtue because one end is a technic pin, it can spin, this in turn gives the next segment the ability to swivel.

I almost Sneaded the tail joints because they can get a little floppy, but in a way that feels life like when you move it around. I’m able to just about curl the tail up into a knot.

Anyway kick butt as always. Are you so proud of me for ACTUALLY replying in public. See? Sometimes even ghosts pay a visit! And looky I made 2 other posts before this one! Only a matter of time before I’m posting everyday!!! lol!

Who cares about that, Check this out everyone! Come to the NorthWest Brick Con in Seattle where Bryce McGlone may be sending some of his mind blowing mecha for the Mecha Hall of Fame Display! See his work IN REAL LIFE!!!

More people are sending Mecha too!!! Really, its like oldeee tymes...

   Later bro, Bryce

Thanks!
