(...) Yep, that was part of my inspiration... that and the initial shape was the two shell parts implied the crab look. More than meets the eye! Very cool. Transforming models is such a cool challenge. Yours works well in both car and robot modes. That's a blast! The scaling of it is great...big hands, big feet (which totally rock BTW), big head. A lot of mecha seem to be tall and lithe...this guy bucks the trend and does it well! Very cool. Hi, This is my first go at a mech of any size. I've done a couple of small ones to 'get the feel' and have been learning a lot from the masters in .mecha. This mech is designed as a general purpose machine useful in any situation from construction (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space) !

I second. I think that Dave really innovated the sidebar here and made it alot more interactive, but it seems he has let it go. Now I know there are things in life more important and taxing then keeping up a running toll on what hot in .mecha or (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
