More than meets the eye!  Very cool.  Transforming models is such a cool
challenge.  Yours works well in both car and robot modes.

Side point:  You know, I could never figure out if the song went "Robots in
disguise" or "Robots in the skys".  "Disguise" makes more sense, but I was
convinced when I was young that the song said "the skys."

I've always loved the challenge of transforming, and with enough experience in mecha I've learned to parse the transformation into single joints ahead of time and figure out how to build around them. It's a whole lot easier than (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey all, Finally, I have something new in the way of mecha :) For some reason, I'm on a huge Transformers kick lately. I've been seeing all of these cool Lego renditions, but it's been so long since one of them actually *transformed*; I figured I'd (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc) !!
