  Thanks, Gil! You know, I hadn't even thought of that. It is hard to get
both the robot and car modes to look good. It sounds crazy even to me, but I
think Bitstream's look is due entirely to my spending too much time looking
at David Willis' [1] TF artwork. huh.
  I'm not so sure about Hasbro's abilities anymore, though I'll agree that
the classic toys do tend to be... how should I put this... ugly. Recently,
though, they've done wonders with some of the Beast Wars figures and (thanks
to Takara, surely) more recently with the Armada toys. Hot Shot just plain
rules.
