(...) the (...) Doh... I forgot to address this. "Robotech" in the US was an assimilation of three unrelated cartoons in Japan: Macross, Genesis Climber Mospaeda, and Orguss. The original VF-1 Valkyrie toys were made by Takatoku toys back in the early 80's. Eventually, Bandai bought the rights from Takatoku and produced some of the later Valkyrie models (like stuff seen in Macross: Do You Remember Love?). After (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

To All, (...) no (...) early (...) Hmm.. I was just looking through these two. If anyone remembers, they did have the Robotech cartoon on the air in Flint, Michigan for a year or so, and that was my first taste of Robotech. I also got several (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Really? I once saw a cut-away graphic (1) for Macross which showed the pilot sitting in the (cramped) cockpit, which filled a good portion of the top half of the torso. Plus, in the Macross movie, the machine is fairly close to ~ 4-5-ish (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
