  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) Mmmmmm, juicy details. I can fit more, really I can! (...) I almost called this guy Linebacker because of the shoulders. I felt a nice heavy shoulder armor was in order (while buiding I saw the piece fit and ran with it...) But otherwise the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) Thanks! I feel like I get just a little better each time I do this. For some reason I Got the Bohrok and thought to myself, "very cool. Not really scary, but cool." So I got the urge to do the little shot of Gunslinger turing one Bohrok into (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

(...) An excellent little mecha, and an outstanding first attempt. I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future... Later, Chris (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) That mech rules! I love the action shots w/ the Bohrok! I'm very impressed by the size and design of your creations. Definitely among the best in the reverse leg mech design... Have you ever considered building and AT-ST? One day I'm going to (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

(...) I've actually been thinking a lot about LBB since BricksWest; I guess the biggest surprise for me was how fun it was to pose LBB and make it's waist bend back and forth. I've always had and inherent distrust for worm gears, due to the fact (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Two New Models : Monster and Temple

(...) I regret not getting to play more with your mecha, for fear of encouraging the onlookers! ;-) Your red mecha is very cool indeed; I really like how well the legs are sculpted. The Monster was sort of lurking behind Eric's big mechbot, so I (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Well since they are exactly the same, I'm not sure! But, since the LSB is designed to retrieve parts it may just have a bit more greedy-ness built into it's nueral makeup, so I think the LSB may just win! Thanks! Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Thanks sir, you notice the coolest things! I can't wait to hang with you when I visit! Yo I just looked at the Gun Slinger again! Whooooooo hooooooo!!!! LBB has the same kind of pilot as LSB, like two peas in a pod. Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

====Eric (...) ====Ha, I know, I took 1 day and then it's back to work! Naww, you had me so pumped up about LBB that I had to make another in a color I knew I had enough of. Black. I made the LSB in about 12 hours, mostly it was hard just locating (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Yes! Here's the deal, the fins on the arms help with mid air control when the jump jets kick in. The antennas on the back of the Mech are sensors that work with the jump jets and the Mechs topographical displays and automation. The Antennas on the (...)   Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

Yes, non-comformist, anti-establishment mecha. Really I was thinking that when you are building a new secret mech and I want to know the specs, I dispatch the Little Stealthy Bot to embark on a covert mission, gather intelligence and report back to (...)   Re: Two New Models : Monster and Temple

Sun, what can I say that hasn't already been said before? You have a way of almost sculpting with bricks instead of building. All your models are so refined, clean, and playable!! Temple is really flashy and brash. I like huge hammer, reminds me of (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

Hey that is cool! I like the idea of a Guard Mech type. Like they would be swarming around and parting through the feet of a passing Mech with clearence to enter the facility. Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Two New Models : Monster and Temple

Good job Sun, these are great. I really enjoyed checking them out during the event. They have all sorts of design qualities that I like very much. I look foward to seeing more detailed pix or more to the point, it will be cool for others to see just (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) Glad you liked it. A photo op presented itself when I unpacked 03. This is the first time I've had four of them standing up together, though 06 doesn't have lower leg armor yet. (...) The load bearing on the turntables is good, but it seems (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Two New Models : Monster and Temple

Two of three(maybe 4) new mechs that will be posted when I finish redesigning my site. These are just studio shots since I suppose people have seen some of the pics already from Brickswest. (URL) Brickswest was fun guys. Sorry I didn't get a chance (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

That's one heck of a first attempt man!! I like the execution on the legs, it look really utilitarian and tough. All the greebles around the base rock, they go together well. You started to lose me on the turret. It seems a bit too tall, I think it (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Guard Dog robot mech

Looks like someone's been watching Patlabor 2. ;-) Hmmm... This is pretty good for a first mecha Jamie. The "Guard Dog" definitely qualifies as a mecha (not the FASA "mech" <shudder>), since it bears an uncanny resemblence to the quadruped, (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Guard Dog robot mech

Well this is my first attempt at a mech lego creation. I'm not even sure if you could call it a mech. I don't know what it would be catorgorized as. I call it the "Guard Dog". www.jneufeld.20megsf...icles.html LMKWYT Jamie Neufeld (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
