  Re: MBV-60-A Silhouette Mecha Instructions

I agree. It is a beautiful mech, but the instructions are nearly incomprehensible due to the background color. The first time I laoded the page, I couldn't tell it was done due to the darkness of the page. (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: MBV-60-A Silhouette Mecha Instructions

(...) Very Cool, but could you turn off or change the background on the instruction pages? It is really hard to see the black pieces... ;) Thanks! Jeff (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  New Beginnings...

Well, I decided to take the plunge and start work on a mech of my own. So, I began work on a shoulder design, using a white clutch gear, that had been floating around in my head for a couple days now. I am happy to say that it works great! I'll get (...)   New report up on Jain's...

...Wish I could find the thread where we were discussing the recent playtest of Brikwars up in NE, but anyway Eric Joslin filed a great field report of the incident for Jain's and its now up :-) (URL) soon to be on its own site... maybe :-) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Good news!

(...) Very nice, Mark! I like the head. That is very hard to get right on a large mecha. keep up the good work! --Karim (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Good news!

AWESOME model Mark... I also like the cannon, and the head. How tall is that thing exactly. And you even say the operators seat slides out? Too cool.   Re: Good news!

Excellent job Mark, reminds me a lot of the nu-gundam (I think that's the name of it). The feet are really nice, and the shoulder mounted cannon is very cool. My own attempts with large scale mecha have convinced me to stick to smaller scale, due to (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: CAD images of the MBV-60-A Silhouette

Ben, I do plan to do some windows wallpaper backgrounds for downloading off my site, and undoubtedly there will be some larger images of the models when I do. What's the designation for a mecha that is going to be twice the height of a heavy mecha? Should the previous mecha be down graded in class? Travis Dickinson (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
