Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

(...) I'm glad you only took on what you felt up to doing. The result is wonderful! (...) As do I! (...) I don't think I've seen this one before. I also like this one a lot. It never ceases to amaze me what can be done on the micro-fig scale. Your (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

Woo hoo! :^D This is a really nice one! It doesn't look as big as the others, but it has a really eye pleasing look to it. Maybe that because you make really good use of the blue and yellow color scheme and you use those SW racing fins so well. I (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Actually I've been cutting throwbot pieces since they first came out to get the ball and socket joints. I know it's a mortal sin but it's a lot cheaper then getting the c3p0's. I actually just finished a Zaku based on Dave Thomas Jr.'s design (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

New Mecha and .DAT file for Chieftain!

(URL) my newest model. I built it after 2 failed attempts at making a really huge mecha carrier, and then a really huge mecha... The last 4 pictures are just the result of me trying to make some camouflage for my mecha. I kinda like it! ;-) (URL) (...)   Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Yeah, I actually broke down and bought a set. Actually, it's not that bad; although I refused to actually build the model, it came with a lot of useful Technic parts, as well as the five ball and socket joints. I also like the gold technic (...)   My very own post! ;-)

Okay, Bryce! Point well Taken... (URL) wait, here I was, going to make this my own post, and I just saw Mladen's new mech while copying the link location. Wow! Beautiful! Oh, I better wait until you post... Thanks for the kind words everyone. I have (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Christopher's mech technology

Helldog II...one of my favorite mechs. I look forward to more pictures. Also Chris your mech deserves its own post. Don't bury it under a question to Mark. Be bold my friend and show your talent! That articulation is off the scale. I have NEVER seen (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Mark!

(...) Well, actually, it was just the Helldog II, but Sproat posted a few pictures on his brickshelf space (no I don't have the link, look it up yerselves, ya lazy bums). I've been painting my house, so I haven't had opportunity to photograph it and (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey Mark!

HOLY COW! Dang, this is too sweet Chris. The amount of articulation you packed into this relatively small model is amazing. The stiffened joints work incredibly well, too well I must say! ;-) BTW the poses are great as well. Looks like your mecha is (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Hey Mark!

Hey Mark! I was wondering... At LUGOLA you had brought some stuff that you hadn't posted pictures of yet (I don't want to say what they are if you're trying to keep it under wraps!) Have you posted them yet? If not, are you going to soon? There were (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) YEA for VF 11's!!!...!!!....and OVAs. (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Thanks Bryce... I think the VF-11's were moving so fast during that part of the film that I didn't notice the FASTpacks. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Lego VF-1 Progress Reports???

After working out the kinks in MLCAD (which I discovered a few months ago, much to the detriment of my free time), I put together a nice set of non-transformable Macross VF's in fighter mode that I'm quite proud of. So far, I've got a VA-3, a VF-1, (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

Chris, you have said some really good things, right on. Plus Bobby, you are really taking this well, mostly everbody wants to give a little input, we can all benifet from advice, but as you know you have to run with your thoughts and only consider (...)   Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

I haven't read every message in this thread, but I felt the need to respond to this message. The amount of time that is spent on a model should be immaterial to the appeal of the model itself. However, I'm impressed that it only took you two days on (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Actually, in the opening sequence of the Macross Plus OVA's (not the movie edition) we see Isamu and his partol group piloting VF-11's with FAST packs. Those of you who have only seen the movie version of Macross Plus will not remember this (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

It is good to hear from you K. With thanks to your explanation I am beginning to understand what people are criticizing. The sad part is that I spend 2 days on the head, 3 weeks on the arms, a full month on the torso, and a full year on the legs. In (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

I think what some of the advanced builders in this forum are criticizing in this model is the uneven design. We've all experienced working on a model, perfecting the part that most interests us and which has the clearest image in our minds, then (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

(...) Again, I must agree with you guys and that is why my Gundam is called ZERO, not Wing ZERO. This is my second Gundam ever and as such its flaws are countless. If I have more time in the future I would completely redesign the arms and the (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Neo-Oz Update: Additional 1.48MB of ZERO pictures added.

(...) Thank you for being critical and voicing your own opinion, and guess what, I agree with you. The arms are too thin, the hands are too small, the head is right but the shoulders and especially the lack of covers for the machine guns makes it (...)
