  joints & stuff

Hello all! So I've been working on quite a bit since the LUGOLA meeting. I stumbled upon something that might be of interest to you mech builders out there. So, you know those 1x4 brick hinges - the kind that have been around forever? They have the (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: mech legalities

Being a nerd I have always fallen back on the acronyms. I have always used Mechanically Enhanced Combat Heavy Armor for MECHA. Although I have never seen this in any other source (anime etc..) it seems to work for me. Mike out (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: mech legalities

(...) It is spelled with a "ch" because it is derived from a non-japanese word (hence it being written in katakana). It is probably derived from mechanical, but I don't know that for sure. :) Jeff (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Keppler Industries update: Bu-806 Fieldsmate

Wow! Great work, it is so realistic. I truly love the fact that this mech has it own personality. A person can just imagine several Bu-806 sneaking on another army (not mobile suits necessary) and the pilots just say BOOOOO! Open fire, demolish (...) (...) Well done! I'm honored that you were inspired by mine. :^) I like the use of the castle bits on the shoulders, and I think your rifle is better than the one I made for Hardygun. Wow! I am impressed Kyle! You did a fantastic job with the colour scheme and the weapons. It looks like a regular, military grunt. The use of specialized pieces (i.e. castle turret top) is great too. (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
